New Wave Catamaran’s has now proven to be one of Australia's leading aluminium boat building companies specializing in commercial aluminium catamarans.

Behind the company's foundation is a wealth of hands-on design and construction expertise.

Directors of the enterprise are Peter Cavaliere and Paul Birgan, both of whom have worked in a project manager/chief designer relationship for several years prior to forming “new wave”.

New Wave Catamaran's new shipyard at Hemmant has been planned, outfitted and equipped for high class aluminium fabrication using the latest hi-tech equipment.

Easy access to deep water and the provision of near by launching facilities allow vessels of almost any size to be completed and launched right on the Brisbane river in Australia.

A hand-picked workforce of tradesmen has been assembled with the selection based on their experience in the completion of aluminium catamarans designed by Paul and his team at Commercial Marine Consulting Services (CMCS) over recent years.

Now in their seventh year of operation New Wave Catamarans have been going from strength to strength. 30 vessels have been completed in this time including several 25 Meter / 200 passenger catamaran ferries and tourist vessels. Also 5 purpose designed and built crew boats for the Caspian sea and three 28 meter catamarans hull kits for Hong Kong were supplied, packed into containers and shipped to China where they are currently being completed.

Prospects look good for the future of New Wave Catamaran with more orders in the pipeline and the quality and performance of the products are world class.
